Dishwasher repair #2

Hi there, I have a midea dishwasher that is malfunctioning and needs to be repaired. After starting a cycle it stops half way through and there is a lot of water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher that doesn’t drain away. I have cleaned the filter and dishwasher but this hasn’t helped resolve the problem. After this has occurred and I try to start another cycle, it beeps for about 20 seconds with a red flashing light and won’t start again. Please let me know if any further info would be useful.
