Fridge wont cool freezer seems to be working

Freezer compartment is still frozen and stating is -18 and fridge compartment feels warm and stats 15. Won't allow me to set temperature. Tried turning off for 20min and left it over night. No change in the morning. Compressor is running feels hot on suction unsure if that is normal on a fridge compressor. Condenser was a little dusty and have brushed cleanish checked condenser fan and is still working but doesn't seem to run by itself. Kinda suspect a thermostat problem but unsure.
