Old UHF broken loose, to replace with new UHF and what to do with old VHF

The antennas on this house were installed in the old days when Sky was UHF and TV was on VHF. The house has one of each, UHF and VHF. The UHF antenna has detached from the mount and is only attached by a wire. The VHF is still securely mounted although it serves no purpose now. A bit reluctant to completely remove the old 'hockey stick' mounts in case sealant fails and leaks in future years? Please see photos, and provide costing/options for what best to do.
