Hi! I'm Alex
I first started waterproofing in 1990 working as a sub-contractor for
one of the biggest waterproofing companies in Sydney, Australia. I
worked on flat roofs replacing the old bitumen membranes with a new
rubber membrane system. Between 1995 and 1997 I worked for a
smaller company in Sydney which specialised in waterproofing of flat
roofs, bathrooms, balconies, planter boxes, showers and retaining
walls. From 1997 to 2023 I successfully ran my own waterproofing
company in Sydney. Clients included builders (commercial and
domestic), property owners and strata companies. I have extensive
experience in waterproofing products and systems including bitumen
sheet membrane (torch on) and a variety of other different liquid
membranes.
In late 2022 I moved back to my home city, Christchurch New Zealand.
I subsequently established Waterproofing NZ Limited and I aim to
provide waterproofing services to clients in Christchurch and the
wider the Canterbury region.
