Chimney Clean - Wood fire

Posted 1 week ago

To preface this request, as we support the severity of the limitations in place currently, we won't want to confirm a date until the Level 4 lockdown has been lifted. As per attached photos, we have a fireplace that needs its chimney cleaned, along with a couple of bricks replaced at the same time. We have had it cleaned around this time last year, and the fire was well used over last winter. Cheers

Blocked kitchen drain - hill property

Posted 1 week ago

Our outside kitchen drain is blocked and consequently we are totally unable to use the kitchen sink or dishwasher. We are a family with two young children and really need access to it again so consider it to be an essential residential service. Our house is located in Corsair bay on a steep hill property. This has happened once before in the past. From memory a hose was run up from the drain layer's truck along the side of the house and the drain was successfully water-blasted that way. Please s...

ESSENTIAL: Laundry taps snapped/leaking, can’t use washing machine

Posted 1 week ago

Ok so our laundry situation has gone from bad to worse Our washing machine is connected to our (very old) laundry tub, with double faucets coming out of the wall. The hot water tap has a leak out of the tap that we cannot fix. The cold water tap pisses out water when you turn it on to the washing machine, so we have been turning it off/on with a wrench. But then today we went to turn it on so we could do some washing, and the whole thing snapped off. We now can’t turn the cold water o...

Help...again #2

Posted 1 week ago

I have a small bathroom that has been painted but to a very poor standard and the paint is now chipping off in areas and it is not to a finish standard. I’m really exhausted by this and I really just need it finished it would probably only need a little bit of prep work and a proper final coat. I had posted about this job previously and a family member tried to do it and has just left it worse than it was before. I don’t have a lot of money but I would really be interested in getting a quote fro...

Investigate/Repair Samsung washer/Dryer #2

Posted 1 week ago

Samsung Washer/Dryer model WDO754W8E trips the fuse box when running. It turns on OK and can run up to an hour without fault but then trips. I've had an electrician check the house wiring and fusebox and they are fine so he says there must be a fault with the machine. Can wait until after Level 4 lockdown.

Install new water system

Posted 1 week ago

We are looking to replace an old hot water system where the water comes from a gravity fed tank. Ideally we'd like to put in an infinity but not sure this is possible. We are also replacing the kitchen and bathroom so plumbing for those rooms need to be looked at. We would ideally like to get started on this work ASAP once the Covid 19 Alert level reduces
