prepping the house for resell - got an inspection report and says that the roof needs some love - lots of nails popping and apple-coring. The ideal would be to replace with screws as the roof is opening up. No moisture ingress as yet but we're heading into winter so would like this problem solved. Some ridge capping lifting. 1st - moss and mould treatment 2nd - roof refresh by swapping out nails to screws 3rd - fixing any areas where rain and water can penetrate Also need a verdict if to completely replace is the most cost effective option.
