Renovation of a tired mid 70's B&T bathroom and toilet (separate). I'm on a tight budget, so a budget renovation finish, but functional and appealing. Currently it has a bath and a non-working shower, and I would be looking to remove the bath, so there is only a shower, leaving - hopefully, room for a washer/dryer (they currently live in the garage). There is extra space that can be recovered from the old HWC - as I now have mains pressure gas hot water. The floor has been water damaged from a leaking HWC when the flat was empty, I've laid some tiles to provide temp support - see photos - so there will be a need to replace the floor. I understand that this has to be done anyway for current code compliance. Total area of Bathroom is 4.25 sq metres, the toilet is 1.275 sq m. I've attached a plan of the bathroom as it exists now, with measurements (Bathroom_layout_0000.jpg). The toilet dimensions are 1770 x 750mm. I've also attached a selection of photos - with description in the title of the bathroom and toilet. Textured ceilings contain asbestos, which I am getting a quote on for removal. Cheers!
