Job image

Job description

Exterior Painting
Wellington

House on two levels, cedar cladding on ground level and fibre-cement on the lower level. Access is difficult in the quarter of the house and will require scaffolding (approx. 6m high). The job: 1. Chemwash & prep (no water blasting please) 2. Cupping weatherboards to be nailed back (not many) 3. Install flat soakers where required, seal all penetrations, scribers, gaps & cracks 4. Two-three coats of tinted light oak oil based stain & black stain on posts 5. Off white acrylic paint on fibrecement Will supply my own stain & paint. While access is available I would like glassier to change rubber on windows and plumber to replace spouting & downpipes. More photos will be added, for now just a basic one.

Overwhelmingly positive experience, the project completed on-time with good results while under pressure of time and unfavorable weather. The team is well tuned to execute tasks fast and efficiently. No shortcuts were taken. Terry, Jaron and the team appeared knowledgeable and offered advice whenever the business came down to choosing alternatives. They genuinely care about their reputation and take pride in their work. Very good communication, I was kept informed throughout the project. Terry, Jaron and the team listened and showed flexibility and attention - I really appreciated this aspect.
