Job description
About 13 years ago we had a leak fixed in an internal gutter. Job was well done with rubber so no further problems. In taking up carpet to replace with laminate flooring in the room above/adjacent we found a soft spot in the floor. Which after investigation turned to weetbix (was chipboard). Also discovered rotten boards in the wall. All dry so no further leaks. Also discovered that the edge of flooring is uncovered below. What to do?
