Job is to assess and mend if required possible damage to underfloor joist. I have just lifted carpet to polish floors in old 1950,s brick and tile unit discovering so some rot but in my opinion too much movement in floor boards over joist but under wall between laundry and bathroom areas and need advice, but thinking patching/bracing old joist required. Assessment is fairly urgent but work not so as I have plumber scheduled to reinstall laundry and i would like to let him know whether to go ahead or not as soon as possible.
