Appliance Technician
An appliance technician is a tradesperson who installs, maintains, repairs and replaces many different appliances, appliance parts and systems. Most technicians have a very general knowledge of appliance repair, and can work on several different types of machines and fixtures. Some appliance technicians may specialize in specific services or brands.
A technician normally will need to take an appliance apart to diagnose the problem then perform any necessary repairs or replacements, and finally put it back together. Work may be done at the homeowner's residence or in a workshop.
Tools often include; cutters, strippers, scissors, blades, crimp tools, modular plugs, and adaptors.
