| This was my first experience of placing a job through builderscrack. Within hours of placing the job I had several expressions of interest amongst who was Vannie of Manukau plastering. He phoned me and made a time to view the job and quote. He was right on time, he went over the job with me and gave me the quote. Within 24 hours I selected him as the successful quote. I asked him when he could start as i wanted the job completed quickly. He said the next day. He was on time and did the plastering. He returned 36 hours later to smooth the plaster. In the meantime the Sparkie had been in and added some new holes and Yannie repaired them. Some one who knows more about plastering than me later viewed the job and said it was superb.

| Initial contact was speedy, but didn't initially seem keen to work in with my suggested times to come and visit to quote. Poor phone manner generally. Upon finally arriving, took one look at the kitchen walls and said: "I don't like the location, and I don't like the job". Also the only contractor across three trades who couldn't find the pay-and-display parking meter on the road by my place. Probably a nice enough guy if you've got a job in his area and his 'type', but would suggest establishing this early in the process to save everyone's time. | |||||
