| Phil provided a great painting service, and good communication throughout job. He expalined how many people would be working on the job each day, was happy to remedy issues as they arose on the job, i.e. identified boards to be replaced, windows needing putty or plaining back. Kept to targets for work completion and the job was finished inside the quoted timeframe. All the team working on the job were professional and polite and the clean up at the end of each day was excellent. No drips of paint anywhere. | The cost went up from the quote because they had missed something at the time of inspecting the job. Other higher quotes had taken this into account so I felt the comparison between quotes had not been fair. However, on that basis, we negotiated a smaller increase than the tradesperson asked for when he realised what he had overlooked. I never actually met the tradesperson, as the property is a rental and I live in a different place, but my tenants were happy with the way he worked.
