| Description | I'm redoing the kitchen and bathroom in my very small flat prior to renting it out (hopefully in about six weeks). [phone] The two rooms are adjacent, and I'm relocating the HW Cyl from the Bathroom into the Kitchen (and downgrading from 135L to 45L in the process). It's an old building, so there's masonry work involved. [phone] I don't want to have to do any external works, so some of the waste issues may be a bit tricky/tight (eg: looking to run kitchen waste very close to wall, or dug into wall, to maximise kitchen draw depths). [phone] In the bathroom, at this stage I'm planning to relocate the WC unless anyone can talk me out of it. There will also be new shower plumbing and basin plumbing, as basically everything is moving to make the small space feel bigger. A washing machine and dishwasher will be going into the Kitchen as well, and again drainage may present some challenges. It may make sense to reuse the old shower drain which runs along the bottom of the shared wall for some or all of the kitchen bits. As you can probably tell, I've got some solid ideas on what I want, but I'm not sure if they're achievable or practical, so looking for someone who's used to old masonry buildings and can be a bit creative to make sure everything ends up properly hidden, while staying within a tight budget. The rooms are both almost back to bare walls at this stage, so things will have to be done to agreed dimensions, once I know better whats possible, affordable, and legal. NB: There's also a tiny bit of gas work to do. |
