| Description | I am a 50year old sleeping on the floor in her lounge where a draft blows through because the painter I hired did not secure the doors and they blew open on a stormy day and blew the manhole out of the roof...why do I sleep on the floor in the lounge, because I have no blinds in any other part of the house, I was waiting for the painter to finish before installing already bought blinds. I hired a painter in February and have been dodged about up until the end of May, when he told me he was going to be off for 6 weeks because he fell off the ladder. Yet when I rang him he was out training up a painter. I was a little tired of being messed about and asked for my keys back and told him I was going to sort the matter out. He was not happy with this. Needless to say I have had no joy as nobody wants to clean up another persons mess and for me to take it through the courts I have to have quotes which no-one is willing to help me with. Damage has been incurred through his workmanship to both the house and furnishings. He has been paid a sum of $ [www] and I am now left with a house that leaks rain through windows, doors, a floor rotting. I have been off work for 3 weeks phoning painters, builders, going to citizens advice, community law, local mp, and have not got anywhere,I can't focus or function at the moment. I am really in need of a genuine person/people please. WHAT YA DOING THIS WEEKEND...BUILDING A RETAINING WALL....HOW ABOUT HELPING JULIE OUT PLEASE? Interior of house needs to be painted walls, ceilings doors, windows, + exterior needs window frames painted and touch up on weatherboards + repair any required weatherboards. Repair rot in french doors, + replace timber on garage + manhole cover to be made, stablise deck + repair rot in floor and fix doorway where rain is getting in + sort out door locks/handles + powerpoint to be replaced and light fittings put back and get light going. I don't have alot of cash left but need alot of help, could you be the someone that will help me. I will do what I can to promote you through the local papers etc. Thanks for taking the time to read it and if you can't help maybe you know someone that can and will let them know. |
