| Description | Roof repairs are required (replacement of flashings). The property is located on Waiheke Island. We have an internal leak that is getting worse. We have had some of the screws in the roof replaced as we were advised that this may have been the cause of the leak and we are in a high wind zone (whereby some of the screws lifted). However, the leak has continued and has got worse. However, we were also advised it could be due to the flashings and these may need to be replaced, specifically around the chimney. The leak inside the house is directly beneath the chimney and the original flashing does not appear to be very good (i.e., some potential gaps and weaknesses). The roof material is steel (similar to colour steel roofs) and was built about 8 yrs ago. We have been mucked around by a few tradesmen who have looked at the roof but did not get back to us, so we are keen to get this done professionally and as soon as possible.
