| Description | We're looking at adding a front door, hall way and study on to the front of our [phone] group home house. It would be about 2.5 meters off the front and about 5 meters wide. We are looking at bopping the kitchen out to the eaves (sp?) for about 4 meters of the kitchen to create more floor space in front of the bench. THe kitchen doesn't need replacing. Just moving forward 60cm or so. The waste for the sink goes outside to a drain directly outside the kitchen window. Will this cause a problem as the build will go over this, do I need to move the drain? Off part of the back of the house (it's a boomerang house so part of it is already on the neighbours boundry) we are looking at adding off the back of one of the bedrooms by about 2.5 meters and 4 meters wide. An onsuite bathroom will be added in part of the old bedroom. The bathroom will back on to the current main bathroon of the house. Just bed bedroom will be built out further. We are looking at getting an idea on price from builders who will be on site to do the work. We are not interested in builders who put in the hammer hands to do the job whilst they go off to do/manage other jobs. Our house is on a flatish site, one level and fairly original condition. We are also looking at changing all the windows in the house to double glazed and remove all the wooden windows so if anyone has an idea on the standard costs of replacing a house lot (3 bedrooms shoe box kind of house) that would be great. Just to add were not interested in auto replies telling us you're interested in the job. Please take the time to read the above and forward on the requested information.
