| Description | My 1950's concrete block with wooden framing and concrete tile roof has sustained roof damage in earthquake. the tiles on one side are sagging in several places possibly due to the rafters in side having been compromised. Two weatherboards have also split and you can see supporting joists from the roof structure were forced through them. The rest of the house seems fine but I can't stay there until the roof has been braced. I have a new eqc claim no and they have said I can go ahead with urgent repairs to make it safe. thank you |
