| Description | I have a lounge with a large cupboard. The lounge backs onto the bathroom. I want to open up the cupboard from the bathroom side (gib wall) re-line where needed, install 2 laundry taps & waste pipe. Fit 125x25 frame in bathroom & use curtain for doorway cover. Convert it into a cupboard with room for washer with drier above. One wall has a bath with taps on the other side, so hopefully plumbing will be straightforward. Lounge cupboard door can be left or screwed shut. The house has no access underfloor, so I'd also like to cut out a section of floor (rimu t&g) between 2 joists to make a removable panel for access. We won't know about any bearers in the way until we look. The cupboard edges are roughly on joists, with one central joist that could be cut & boxed in.. |
